Jesse "Jess" Glenn Strickland of Ennis, Texas passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born on March 19, 1936 to John Lewis and Alice Lee (Harben) Strickland in McKinney, Texas. Jess was a 1954 graduate of Visalia High School. He married Marilyn Joyce Ferrando in Visalia, California in 1958. Jess worked for Ed's Garage in Ennis, Texas and also for U-Haul for over 40 years. He loved photography, taking videos, and watching John Wayne movies.
Jess is survived by daughter, Tammie Davis and husband, Brad of Dallas, Texas; son, Ben Strickland and wife, Stacy of Ennis, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Jacob Davis and wife, Laura, Krystal Coleman and husband, Dustin, Cody Strickland, and Kelly Strickland; great grandchildren, Luke Davis, Henry Davis, Will Davis, and Bailey Fay Reagan; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
