It is a truth universally acknowledged that education is a very important part of life. This is no-less true in Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven, where building the university is key to many facets of the game. Not only does it unlock the very important Strategist class, but you can also use it to earn quite a bit of extra cash.

Romancing Saga 2: Revenge Of The Seven Review - Your Weirdest Friend’s Favorite RPG
If you can get behind an RPG that focuses less on its story and more on its rich gameplay, then Romancing Saga 2 is down to boogie.
As you'd expect from a university, knowledge is very important. This takes the form of a whole host of quizzes to undertake - first to enrol as a student and then to earn that aforementioned extra cash.
This guide is in-progress! We have most of the game's quizzes listed below, and we'll be sure to add more to the guide in the coming days!
How To Unlock The University
The university, like the Smithy, Incantation Lab, and park, are unlocked via the throne's Development menu. You'll need to have progressed the game far enough (by completing events and fighting enemies) to unlock the project, and then you can fund it whenever you please.
- Building the University will cost 1,000,000 Crowns and take a significant amount of time to construct.
- Upgrading the University will cost 1,000,000 more Crowns and also take some time. The final upgrade unlocks once you reach the Final Emperor.
How To Pass The Imperial University Entrance Exam
You can take this exam by entering the university for the first time and heading to the question mark icon. Talk to the NPC here and you can enrol, which allows you to take this exam at any point at the quest marker inside the building.
There are ten questions to answer, with some of them having variable answers that are based on your playthrough.
Q # | Answer |
---|---|
1 | 772 |
2 | Oreon Style |
3 | Rocbouquet |
4 | Terrology |
5 | Soulsteal |
6 | 10,000 Crowns |
7 | Fission |
8 | Watchman |
9 | Bokhohn |
10 | Whatever your current income is. Look it up before the test! |
After passing this exam, you can then go find and talk to the Strategist to recruit him.
All Regional Exam Answers
The answers below are for the exams available as soon as you've built the University and passed the Entrance Exam. Most of them only have seven questions and require that you correctly answer five of them, while some have ten questions and require eight correct answers.
These exams unlock once you have added a certain region to the Empire, with some requiring an upgraded university.
The questions you receive in these exams are randomly taken from a pool of questions larger than the number you'll actually be asked. For this reason, the guides below may not be exhaustive. We will provide every topic we have encountered, along with the correct answer.
As the questions are random, we recommend reading each quiz's table in its entirety so that you can absorb as much of the knowledge as possible.
All of these exams cost a certain amount of money to take and have specific rewards.
